The All-on-4 / All-on-6 Treatment Process
All-on-4 and All-on-6 implant procedures are a modern treatment method that provides fixed dental prostheses for fully edentulous patients. The process consists of the following stages:
Examination and Radiography
The structure of the jawbone is assessed with a panoramic radiograph and 3D tomography. Suitable implant planning is carried out.
Planning and Preparation
A personalised All-on-4 or All-on-6 treatment plan is drawn up. If necessary, the teeth to be extracted are identified.
Placement of the Implants
Usually on the same day, 4 or 6 implants are placed in the jawbone. The procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia.
Temporary Fixed Prosthesis
After the implants are placed, a temporary fixed prosthesis is fitted the same day or the following day. The patient immediately regains comfort in chewing and speaking.
Healing Period
Integration of the implants with the bone generally requires a period of 3–6 months. A temporary prosthesis is used during this time.
Fitting the Final Prosthesis
Once the implants have fused with the bone, a personalised, aesthetic and functional fixed final prosthesis is fitted.
Advantages of All-on-4 / All-on-6 Treatment
Fast and Effective Solution
The implants are usually placed and the temporary teeth fitted within a single day.
No Bone Graft Required
Thanks to implants placed at specific angles, bone augmentation is not needed in most cases.
Comfort of Fixed Teeth
It offers a far more comfortable, stable and natural feel than removable dentures.
Aesthetic Appearance
Aesthetic designs with the look of natural teeth give you a confident smile.
Ease of Speaking and Chewing
Thanks to the fixed structure, speaking and eating continue comfortably in daily life.
A Long-lasting Investment
With proper care, All-on-4 / All-on-6 implants can be used safely for many years.
Frequently asked questions
Because implant treatment is carried out under local anaesthesia, no pain is felt during the procedure. There may be mild pain and swelling for the first few days afterwards, but this is part of the normal healing process and can be controlled with the medication prescribed to you.
